I played Eve for about a year before jumped to SWG and then to EQ2...

Eve was pretty fun and I enjoyed it. Nice graphics and stuff, but the actual game was pretty hollow. Not too much to do/explore in a way. Of course there are lots and lots of systems and so on, and lots to do... but in the end it was the same stuff. And not so many different ships/weapons to use.

Corporate Wars were fun tho...

Quit playing it after I had saved for a year to buy myself an Battleship (over 100M price) and fitted it with really good weapons and equipment (another 100M)... and then lost the ship to a AI-pirate due to a bad lag... And at that moment didn't have insurance on the ship (since I was on my way to get one)...

Kinda ruined my game... Since I had only 12M of credits.... another year of saving didn't feel interesting...

SWG was after that my main game, untill NGE when I basicly stopped playing that and transferred to EQ2... and now I am happy.:grin:

Well EvE is one of those games you need to play with a 2nd game, it takes a while to train in skills etc.

But Spike and another m8 of me bought it and so am I :)
But just need a new pc first ;P

played EVE for a while too, but I guess i got a little bored after a while, can't say i had loads of stuff though!:-)

a friend of mine and me both got it as it was on offer in a shop here, i think we payed like

Hmm i seem to be playing this now too :whistle:

I couldnt play it on its own (ie i have wow to keep me busy) seems to be a lot of waiting around to start with, but the graphics are v clever and there seems to be a lot of potential in it. I like the whole "players make it what it is" thing with player starbases and ransoms an bounties an stuffs. Total noob atm though cant even work out how to use the market properly.

Im there as Eelis anyways if anyone wants to say hi. I prolly wont know how to say Hi back though lol

But i have been playing eve for over three years know. I run a small corp which is in FLA.

Any fellow TDV'ers out there?
