So, while I'm waiting for the d/l to complete; what is the best Magic class & Race for Horde toons then?

Warlock tbh. Although I would not recommend it for a new player.

For a new player I'd recommend a hunter or a rogue. Very easy to play and to learn the game with.

Races dont really count for much, although undead have a wicked racial, I'm gonna recommend Orc to anybody :D

Im loving warlock but you really have to take care of your tanking pet or you will die quickly

Warlocks are great. I hope your going with the Demonology tree. Soul Link 4TW.

Well it looks like I'll roll either an undead Mage, an Orc Shaman or an Orc or Undead Warlock...

Think I'm gonna go Warlock tbh. It seems to be a mix of a Warlock from EQ2(which I enjoy) & a Necro (Pets) which I fancied in EQ2.

Now, Undead or Orc?

Undead has nice racial :)
But orcs have nice jokes and looks kewler :)

Rolled an Undead Warlock late last night on Bladefist. Got about 20mins of play (or less) & then crashed.

It was the same crash I was experiencing in SWG months ago where the screen freezes & I have to reboot. Bit of a bugger. Been happening more recently in EQ2 too

Well it was about 11.30pm so I wasn't that bothered. I was well annoyed at all the stupid little d/l there were. After the hour long initial d/l I thought I could get straight in, but nooooo, there we 5 or 6 mini d/ls which kept restarting the WoW application. I also spent about 30mins creating my toon, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

It's indeed annoying that the programm can't download and install all at once :(

Rich I have a feeling its your RAM if that's still happenin. Do what I did when I was round and remove all the RAM, blow the slots out to clear dust and push them back in REALLY hard. Also reseat the GFX card again.

If you still have issues after that I'll come help ya out again matey cos I have a fair ol amount of RAM at my place as you may have seen :)
