14-day Trial Accounts

I'm currently using a trial account to try out a possible alt account. In case anyone else should be interested in doing anything similar, here are a few things about the trial accounts:

* To get one of these accounts involves a 2-gig download from www.fileplanet.com - You basically have to download the entire game.
* The account key only becomes available when you start to install the game from the download (It retrieves it from the Fileplanet site and is specific to the file downloaded.
* Trial account characters have a maximum bank balance of 50k - anything tipped or earnt over this amount is lost with no possibility of getting it back.
* Trial account characters cannot place vendors, transfer structures or give admin on structures to other players


If I should discover anything else I'll add the information, and if anyone has any questions they can pm/email/tell me and I'll answer if I can.

You have to do the full 2gb download? Crap, thats pretty... crap. I too was considering trying this out to see how an alt would work, and I may do, but not until my exams are over, so I'll just have to hope the offer's still going in a couple of weeks :)

A bit crap, but they had to take into account people who didn't actually own the game yet, and I also guess they wanted to deter everyone from starting up extra accounts just for the hell of it.

Something else I remembered - you have to get the account activated before 31st July or it won't work.
