    Nax Raid groups (Not finalised)

    Wednesday night

    Group 1 - Tanks - Alatinus, Markul
    Healers - Ellsa, Eilen, Jasymn
Dps - Lichcraft, Doril, Lenaris, Lubbzarn, Booda

    Night yet to be decided

    Group 2 - Tanks - Celene, Anao
    Healers - Sem, jalkavoide, Nudle
Dps - Saribis, Blasphemy, Roark, Ponda, Zhall

Any problems with this arrangement please discuss in this thread. Group 2 wont be running for a few weeks yet so members of that group need to gear up as much as possible in preparation

I will always be around to raid with Ponda but may not always have the time to raid on Booda also. If I am around then yes I will raid with him. Not seeing Bang on here, sure the lil scouser will be upset. Defeigo has some nice gear but I see him as a casual member, is that why he is not included or because he has not been with the guild long? ATM there are a lot of alts. We will need to phase out alts for other accounts at some point and gear those people up if our aim is to do 25 man runs.

I'd prefer to raid with Anao too, because of RL.

ok. keep the suggestions coming. Will put down a revised list tonight. The idea is to start out with a few alts in the group and then slowly replace each alt with a new guild member. I'll swap markul and probably put him in group 2 then if anao and jas wanna raid together...

Aye, I'd agree with the comments about alts. Alts shouldn't get priority in groups ahead of mains.

And from a DPS point of view, I'd hope that 1 of the DK's in group 2 is unholy spec for the Crypt fever debuff, which is a pretty big boost to DPS. In group 1 both Doril and Lubbzarn can apply it (locks version is curse of elements).

Re: Nax Raid groups (Not finalised)

I think the groups need to be seriously reworked. Having the same 5 people in both group 1 and 2 isn't a good idea imo. I doubt those people want to raid Naxx everyday just to get both groups done. It could take 2-3 nights to clear Naxx to begin with, that's 4-6 nights to start with to get both cleared, not to mention we have OS and in the future EoE to clear. It's looking like some people would be raiding everyday, which is not what people are wanting and will soon take the fun from the game.

I also think it needs to be sorted who peoples mains are. I don't see Mizuko on that list but I'm pretty sure Ellen wants to raid with that character more. If you take the alts out of the raids and stick to peoples mains, we have enough people for one 10 man raid, with enough cover if need be. There are still quite a few people who are not on that list also, if they aren't in contention to get a raid spot over our alts then why were they invited into the guild?

Lets not forget that last wednesdays raid, although it was a good run and a full clear in one night, it wasn't a full guild run. If we're still short on getting one group full not sure how we're going to manage two. I feel it would be better to go with one group while people take the responsibility to gear up outside the raids in order to improve the guild as a whole. Even if you don't need any loot, there are people who do and grouping with them to get the gear they need will help you out when they join the raids.

Have raids clash with champions league matches means people wont be online, thats why last week was pretty quiet. Liverpool are on tuesday this week, so I'll be free wednesday :P

Given that most of the players in our guild are mature, most have jobs and wont be available to raid every night, personally 3 nights a week is the max I'm willing to do. The idea of running 2 groups wasn't so we could gear up our alts, it was to allow more players in the guild to join in on raids. Ideally, I want to attend raids with my lock, my priest is there if we're ever short on healers and need some one to fill in.

It would also be nice to rotate the raids ocasionaly, having naxx25 on sundays, means I'll never attend it :P

just to make this clear guys. Only reason alts are in there atm is so we can get the raid group going. wont be like that forever. i want to replace them as we get new players. Eventually the group will be entirely independant.

Just to make it clear, I will not use the little I have of free time on the pre-set raid days to bring my druid. I'm about fully pre naxx geared on my hunter now and he's my main for now.
